The last wave got me good and proper - I was right inside it. I had to phone my husband and get him to come and collect me as I was wet through and had nothing to dry the camera with. Fortunately the camera survived.
The next day we went to Sennen Cove, the beach nearest to Lands End. Here the waves were coming across the breakwater.
