This is what was brought forth by the sea to feed the land when I was last in Cornwall. I had a mind to bring it all back to my allotment to spread but....
These seaweeds always remind me of jewels. Salty beads. Mermaids necklaces.

# 4 Debris

I love puddles. Especially in autumn when the wind whip up swirls and the rain makes rings that get distorted by falling leaves in beautiful colours. It makes me so joyful - and grateful - to walk through these. An inner peace. The leaves and the rainwater is debris but also part of natures great recycling plant - long may it last!

Living on the coast I'm lucky in that I have the beaches to scavenge for natural treasures, but on my recent search for woodland and streams I rediscovered the joy of other countryside debris... old rotten tree trunks and of course this seasons fallen leaves. These should be ideal opportunities for work based in nature leaving "a bit of a mess". Hope you find plenty of inspiration in your area.
