Q is for queue

Well, someone had to photograph a queue!  This is a group of dancers at a festival in Paris.  I am not sure where they are from - I suspect somewhere in the Balkans.

Q is for quoit

Chun Quoit, West Penwith.  Quoits are pre-historic burial chambers and there are a number of them in this area.  This photograph was taken by my husband as I do not seem to have taken any of quoits since I went digital!

Q is for Quote

The quote reads, "Ships may be safest in ports, but that's not what ships are for."  This is my drawing board from class at the University of Hawaii Manoa.  Couldn't just leave it alone, could I?

Letter - Q

The new prompt for the rest of May is the letter Q. I am not sure how hard that will be! How many photos have you got of quilts and queens?

I did a whole series of work on the Tudors, who, thanks to Henry VIII, managed to have quite a few Queens.

But here is one of Henry's mother, Elizabeth of York. Her marriage to Henry VII stopped the 30 years war between Lancaster and York and got the whole Tudor dynasty going.
