This is the O from WOMAD which took place in our beautiful Bowl Of Brooklands over the last three days. What a fabulous international festival of music and dance.

Alphabet quilts

Several  years ago I made a series of quilts, one for each letter of the alphabet, for a solo show.  Here's O.

I called the quilt "Crosshairs" and it was the last one but one to be finished.  The deadline for hanging the show was approaching quickly, and I needed to finish it FAST.  So it was nice to make a quilt with only 12 pieces of fabric.

...onions at the farmers' market.  What?  Are those oranges right behind the onions.  Then "O" is for "Oh my!" also.

This chap was walking along the street in Ho Chi Mihn City, Vietnam. I just noticed that the cart he is pushing is also orange.

Letter - O

I have really enjoyed the crescents! There was a bit more thinking outside the box than I managed for mine.

And here is a challenge! The prompt for the rest of March is the Letter O. It just might be a bit hard! It just might take a bit of lateral thinking! or maybe something springs to mind straight away?
