Even though we all get inspiration from others, we like to form a little niche to call our own. I heard about treasure necklaces a few years ago, and they're my favorite necklaces to make. Here's to inspiration and individuality!

I is for ice

Some may call this frost, but I think it is ice on a leaf.

Black I

This quilt was my first success in the world of big-time exhibits -- it was accepted into Quilt National '03.  It's made of selvages, which I love for many reasons.  First, I hate to throw away even the tiniest scrap of fabric, and second, I love the words and register marks printed on them.  I've always said that fabric talks to me, and selvages have a lot more to say than the stuff in the middle of the bolt!

Not difficult to decide what I is for – picking the image was the difficult bit.
