H is for Hut

This is an outhouse shaped like a Fijian bure at the airport at Paradise Cove.  However it looks just like a hut.

H is for double Hollyhocks

 Do you remember making hollyhock dolls when you were little playing in your grandmother's garden?  I used to spend hours playing with the dolls in their different colored dresses. Oh how I would have loved to have something as grand as these double hollyhocks for dollies in frilly ballgowns.

Holly and hosta

The holly is having a good time, enjoying the inch and a half of rain we had last night.  So much humidity that nothing has evaporated yet.

But the hosta has seen better days, after weeks and weeks of temperatures in the 90s and 100s.  Enough summer already! (And who says they don't believe in climate change?)

H is for …

hedgehog. Master or Miss Tiggywinkle was good enough to pose for me in the garden a while ago – possibly because s/he was too young to know better.

Letter - H

The prompt for the rest of August is for things having to do with the Letter H.

When you compose your post, it would be great if you could choose H for the label box before clicking on publish. If you click on Show All, next to the labels box, you can select the right label for the prompt you are responding to. (I'd like to keep the labels relevant to the prompts, though, so please don't add new ones.)

I really like the range of things we find around us starting with different letters. Sort of an artist's "eye spy" game.
