Holiday Cheer

Heres a toast to all for the holiday season. Of course it is summer here in New Zealand so there is nothing better than celebrating outside.

Hannukah Lights

This time of year represents Hannukah.  This is a photo of  our two menorahs.  The tradition is to light them in a window or doorway where they can be seen by the outside world.

Holiday Cheer

And for December... not a proper colour, but a sort of theme colour. With the holidays coming up, what colours speak to you of Holiday Cheer?

Perhaps it is more than one thing? Perhaps you will think of other things over the new few weeks. You are welcome to post more than once for this one (or any other really).

Here is a start.
red and gold

I call these my Christmas Pudding earrings, but since they were sent to me by someone in America, I expect they were meant to be baubles.

We will still have a letter on the 15th, but we will start the New Year with shapes. If you know anyone who might like to join up, I will send out new invites around the New Year.
