Depth

As another person who keeps forgetting to post, here is the Avon Gorge which runs through the centre of Bristol.

And here are the Austrian alps taken from a chairlift above Mayerhofen.  The valleys are extremely deep.

I live surrounded by old tin mines but so far I haven't been able to find any photos of shafts, even though I know I have taken them.  I'll have another look.
