Crazy patchwork is always so vibrantly full of colours and I don't like it for this very reason. This little snaill is travelling on a crazy route but on a monotone pathway which is restful and broken only by the rhythms of monotone threads in different stitches. Even the flowers are monotone. The snail is at peace with his world and slowly makes his way. A lesson to us all.
