I played around with Helen Suzanne's original image ages ago – and then completely forgot to post the results.
I used a free programme called Picnik. Unfortunately I can’t remember exactly what I did –but I think it involved the ‘ripple blocks’ effect.
I think this is the same effect although I must have manipulated the colour as well.
