End of 2012

I've been a silent participant for rather a long time as the camera has taken a back seat to the sewing machine! I ended 2012 knee deep in projects that needed finishing and in the "Bookwrap Gems" project for the Quilters Guild of the British Isles - where we are asking folk to make and donate a wrap or cover for a notebook to be raffled at Festival of Quilts in August 2013 in Birmingham .

Acrylic painted paper,scrunched with acrylic wax applied to the surface, quilted onto felt with metal shims stitched to decorate.

An Offcut from an earlier small quilt embellished with brads, stitches and knots.
Such fun to make and allows you to stretch your repertoire at very little risk! Have a go..... quite addictive!
