The last week of my 2012 was involved with planning a quilt for a challenge at the Quilters Guild AGM in the UK in April. You can read a little more about it on my blog here. I don't always work from sketches and the like but this time I thought I would work some of the issues out before I started, with a collage.
The theme of the challenge is 'My world is green' and I am looking forward to interpreting this collage in fabric.
I like using curved piecing and am enjoying blending the colours and tones. Once the layers are complete cutting and repiecing and machine quilting will all play their part.
