On the Quiltart list, there has been a discussion of two color quilts and the question of whether or not pink and orange play nice together.  Today someone linked to this assortment of fabric; definitely a picture of summer to anyone with girls of any age!

I inherited my brother's grandchildren after he and his wife passed away.  So with a thirteen year old, a ten year old, seven year old twins, and a six month old --- I can see lots of these colors in my future quilts and sewing.
