This quilt was my first success in the world of big-time exhibits -- it was accepted into Quilt National '03. It's made of selvages, which I love for many reasons. First, I hate to throw away even the tiniest scrap of fabric, and second, I love the words and register marks printed on them. I've always said that fabric talks to me, and selvages have a lot more to say than the stuff in the middle of the bolt!
