A is for Artichoke

As always, inspired by nature...

Here is a not so successful cotton nuno gauze. My 1st attempt for the theme A. I was going to cut out white merino apples and apply to the green, but it hardly seemed worth it as the first stage just didn't work. I am finding it difficult to understand the cotton gauze.

I have however been inspired by Chrissie's post below and think this piece could work as a loosely covered aida for stitching onto. Thank you :)
